Alex is an emerging, soulful and spirited musician from Sydney Australia with the intention of sharing her voice and her energy with the world. Growing up surrounded by music, Alex’s passion was ignited by her father, who often played jazz tunes on the piano. Influenced by iconic artists such as Ariana Grande, Lady Gaga, Mariah Carey, and Aretha Franklin, Alex knew from an early age that music was her calling.

 

Alex’s journey in music began at the age of five, when she started singing, dancing, acting and learning piano. Over the years, she’s honed her craft, even lending her voice as a vocalist for many projects including an Emmy award-winning animated series. Growing up singing in bands has given Alex a unique edge, blending soulful melodies with dynamic stage presence.

 

Since her first EP (produced by Sean Carey) release at the beginning of 2023, Alex has continued to build momentum. Her music has been featured in several prominent Spotify playlists, and she has performed at multiple local events as well as Berklee College of Music events, showcasing her vocal and performance talents.

 

Fans and newcomers can expect a fresh new sound from Alex Varvar soon, as she is set to release new music with a more R&B/pop influence. With a deep love for music and a drive to create, Alex is poised to capture the hearts of listeners around the world with her talent and her wit.
